How to log in to your Banana Pi router
- 1 Connect your PC to LAN1 on the Banana Pi router board using a Cat6 Ethernet cable.
- 2 Open your browser and navigate to http://192.168.1.1 (or console via USB-UART debug header).
- 3 Log in with Username: root and Password: root (or configured OpenWrt / Debian credentials).
- 4 Configure 10G SFP+ WAN ports, Wi-Fi 7 / Wi-Fi 6 radios, and hardware NAT offloading in LuCI.
If you forgot your customized admin password or cannot reach the web portal, locate the physical RESET pinhole button on the back of your Banana Pi router. While powered on, press and hold the button with a paperclip for 10 to 15 seconds until the power LED begins flashing. Release the button and wait 2 minutes for the unit to reboot with factory default credentials (User: root / Pass: root).
