How to set up your Chunghwa Telecom router

  1. 1 Connect your PC to the Chunghwa Telecom fiber modem via LAN cable or Wi-Fi.
  2. 2 Open your browser and go to http://192.168.1.1.
  3. 3 Log in with Username: cht and Password: chtn plus the last 4 characters of the MAC address (or user / user).
  4. 4 Manage HiNet PPPoE credentials, optical fiber link power, and Wi-Fi 6 wireless encryption.
